Basic Leather Care
Any natural vegetable tanned leather will require a protectant of some sort. We suggest Craft and Lore all natural Leather Balm on any natural veg tan products that you purchase. It moisturizes and protects the leather and it smells great. Put a coat on your most used leather goods once or twice a year. Horween or Harness leather is usually fairly well protected with wax and tallow that is in the leather from the tanning process, but may need some additional conditioner after a few years of service.
For the most part, you want to keep water and dirt away, while making sure the leather doesn't dry out which could lead to cracking. It takes a long time (years) to get to a point of drying and cracking, so you shouldn't worry about that for awhile. If down the road you find any leather of yours getting very dry, a coat of mink or neatsfoot oil will also help bring it back.
TERMS FOR ORDERING
By ordering our products, you agree to the following.
You accept that leather is an organic material that may show signs of the animals life, such as markings or subtle scars that do not affect the function and durability of the product. You also accept that colors across monitors may be different, as well as the potential different color results from the tannery drum dye process.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the quality of the product we are delivering, we will either replace your product or provide a full refund. The product will need to be in its original condition and the return postage will need to be shown as within 14 days of receiving the product. We are always interested in customer concerns and actively look for feedback or critique on how to better build products. We welcome reviews on the product page of your purchased item. This helps us continue to better serve you, who in turn support our small workshop. Please note that you are responsible for providing the correct information regarding the product you buy. Whether it is the correct leather belt measurement, or your decision on which color leather and hardware you choose to go with. You are responsible for any additional shipping that occurs due to incorrectly placed orders.
By ordering from us, you agree to accept our product with our maker's mark. Requests to withhold our mark on your order notes will not be honored, and any shipping involved in returning the product will be your responsibility.
International orders may incur a customs tax that the buyer will be responsible for. You will need to contact your local customs office to find out what the import tax that your country charges from USA exported goods. Any international shipment that is refused by the recipient, will be considered forfeit to the customer at their expense under our "no return for international orders" policy. Most customs agencies will charge us to return the shipment, or charge us to destroy the package.
Customer Support requests are best made by replying to your order confirmation email.
