Quickly faded from purple to boring brown
"Let's see if the owner allows this review to remain on the site. So I've bought three port wallets and they're incredibly well made, stylish and awesome, but I lost my first one and replaced it with this purple one. It never looked as purple as it does in these photos, but it was pretty close, and I loved it. However, within about 6 weeks of normal usage (never got it wet or left it in the sunlight, etc) the purple had faded to a plain, normal-looking (ie, boring) brown color (see images; one is in direct light, the other in shade). I wrote Craft and Lore about it, and someone (the owner?) responded and basically told me to kick rocks. He said that he couldn't be responsible for what happens to his products after the sale. Um, yes you can? It's called "standing by your products. " Also called "customer service. " So while these products are very well made, the customer service element just isn't there, and if you're buying a purple wallet because it's purple, and 6 weeks later it isn't purple anymore, then AT THE VERY LEAST the product description should fully advise customers that this will happen beforehand. If a customer wants to return it for AT THE VERY LEAST a store credit, then that should be offered. But, instead of taking care of me, a customer who's bought three wallets and probably would have bought many more items in the coming years, he has lost my trust and I will never purchase another item here. Sad to see small business owners shooting themselves in the foot like this. If only he understood that doing the right thing and taking care of his customers actually increases sales in the long run. . . ."
