Our Northwestward Field Notes in world famous Horween Shell Cordovan. This extremely rare and high quality leather is hand tanned in the Horween tannery in Chicago. The leather has been reversed to show the Horween stamp and the unique grain and texture of the Shell. Proper or Reversed?
We often reverse the Shell Cordovan to show the interior to the outside. This reveals ink stamps, marks and a more rugged patina experience that slowly refines over time. We have no control over the reversed color, and we cannot promise any results other than what Horween sends us. If you prefer to safely receive the color you want, choose the proper color option available.
